General information

XC Savinjska Open is an event bringing competition flying back to Savinjska valleyThere are 4 takeoffs considered, depending on the conditions.

Dobrovlje: A plateau overlooking the lower Savinja valley and offering a 10km south facing ridge. There are task options to the high alpine peaks or good valley flying.
Malič: One of the highest mountains in the Zasavje hills offers a south facing takeoff. There are good task options in the Zasavje hills.
Kopitnik: Another peak in the Zasavje hills that offers a north facing takeoff. Same as Malič, good task options in the Zasavje hills.
Konjiška gora: A south west facing takeoff providing us with a good option in the event of south west winds, which are common here. Task options are good in the hills or the valley

The event will take place from 18.3.2023 to 19.3.2023 with reserve dates a week later, so 25.3-26.3.2023.
